Our aim is to offer a high quality reliable inclusive
service, when you need it, at affordable prices. PlayDay Nursery
was recently proud to receive a Level 2 QC award from the NDNA The happiness and welfare of each child is our first priority.
We provide a safe and stimulating environment for children
from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. The Management and staff are
dedicated to providing quality, loving care and provide an
effective environment which will give a firm basis for meeting
the educational needs of babies and children ie implementing
the the Early Years Foundation Stage
Curriculum.

We offer open communication and involvement
for you as parents thus providing you with 'peace of mind'.
The team at Playday are conscious that as a parent you want
your child to spend the day with someone you can trust and
someone who really cares - someone who recognises the demands
you face as a busy, loving parent.
We consider that we do our utmost to assist with the development
of childcare places and work in partnership with local agencies
eg local schools, colleges and training agencies, SureStart
County Durham, the local SureStart programme and Sedgefield
Borough Council, and the community as a whole. |

| Our nursery
is a privately owned establishment which opened in November
1995. We are registered with Office for Standards in Education
(OfSTED)
for 54 places. |

We work in partnership
with Durham
County Council Local Education Authority, receiving education
grants on behalf of children aged three and over which reduces
fees considerably.

team of staff. As well as their professional qualifications
we ensure that all of our staff also hold current first aid
and food hygiene qualifications.
