We understand the difficult choices parents and carers face when considering which child care options are right for them. Here are a few of the reasons why we think you should consider Playday.

Quality care

At Playday we pride ourselves on our reputation for providing high quality care and education. In a safe, fun and stimulating environment we help all the children in our care to grow and prosper through the vital pre-school years.

Peace of mind

We understand every parent's concerns regarding the safety and security of their child. All of our dedicated team of staff hold first aid and food hygiene qualifications and are trained in risk assessment.

Entry to Playday nursery is secured using CCTV. Anyone who is not recognised is greeted at the door by a member of staff.

Quality staff

The management at Playday recognises that the service it provides is dependent on the quality of the team and has an ongoing commitment to staff development and training.

Settling in

At Playday we have a policy of unlimited settling in visits, feel free to attend nursery with your child by appointment. During this time you can read about and discuss our policies with the staff, discuss any concerns or questions you may have and get to know the team. Feel free to ring at any time to check on your child's progress or just to to see how they are getting on!

But don't just take our word for it...

Playday nursery was the first day care provider in County Durham to attain an accreditation award in the early education and childcare sector. The NDNA’s Quality Counts shows that our very good reputation is well deserved. In May 2006 after our second accreditation for Quality Counts we were delighted to receive a level 2 award based on the revised criteria.
