At Playday we are dedicated to providing the highest standards of care and education for your child in a friendly, homely, stimulating and safe setting.

Every parent is recognised as a partner who wants the best for their child. To this end Playday provides a fully inclusive service where each child is respected and treated as an individual regardless of race, ethnic origin, colour or ability.

It is our aim to provide the parent with peace of mind, knowing their child is in the capable care of trained and committed staff.

Partnership with Parents

We appreciate how you must feel when leaving your child in the care of another person and for this reason we operate a “Settling in” scheme (read more about this in our brochure). No charge is made for this part of the service. Our aim is to have a happy child and a relaxed parent who can telephone at any time for reassurance that all is well. Playday operates an “Open Door” policy and we welcome parents' involvement.

The provision of a “Personal Care Plan” for your child is completed by you and your child’s Key Worker. A daily diary is completed for children under three that records significant events of the day. The staff welcome your comments too and the exchange of information proves to be most useful. These records are kept up to date by a nursery nurse who will be introduced to you as your child’s Key Worker and are treated with the utmost confidence. The nursery produces Newsletters and hosts two Open Evenings in the year though parents are welcome to telephone or call at any time
